I was at a seminar once (can’t remember what it was about), and invited one of my employees to attend it with me. There were maybe 100 or so people in the room, and at the end the hosts went into the typical Q&A session. As I raised my hand to ask a question, my associate looked at me with deer-in-the-headlights eyes and asked, incredulously, ‘Are you really going to ask a question?!?’ To her it was simply inconceivable to do something like that. There is an entire block of readers that will NEVER consider leaving a comment, it’s just not part of their personality style.

I guess to say the usual like, “I dont listen to the radio no more cause, hip-hop dont dance no more, all they do is this” would be cliche right? lol. Phontigga, Rapper, what eva you do.. know that you got mad fans hungry for the hip-hop that you cheff’in. And, um fat of that ish. No diet plan for me!! Tigga, I am currently in post grad school and, a 3rd year Doctoral student who come from a HBCU in alabama, back home to chicago to attend a PWI (Private white institution) in 2004. It is wild how we gotta adjust to people, right? Every monday, I listen to “Let it go” just to hear, “tiga the medicine, a fine black specimine of afro-engenering” and “Um gont shivo my rivals niggas pull out the feeding tubes!” Peace to you cats.. a fan since day one.

Damn, I kinda saw the “end” of LB coming right before Getback dropped… Although I’m a lil sad, I understand the reason for it… Props on the Grammy Nod Phonte(What up Brainchild!!!) Nicolay is a BEAST on the boards…As far as Little Brother is concerned, I’m good as long as you and Pooh keep dishin out the hits, wether it’s “LB” or not….Hell, I still have The Listening, Chitlin Circuit, And Justus For All, Getback, Minstrel Show and Separate But Equal in my regular rotation, and I can’t wait to add Leftback to complete it… Much Love and respect….

dammit phonte, now i’m depressed. and then brainchild went and played “whatever you say” and I flashed back to the summer before I went to college. I remember very distinctly I was bumpin Dead Prez and Little brother hard that whole year. I actually bought the album and I remember it came with that little remix CD that Ninth had made.

Had a roommate in college who was from OH and now he’s a die hard foreign exchange fan all because I shared the music with him.

and now i’m sitting here thinking about how fast the last 10 years of my life and flown by. Finality is a motha fucka

I would like to thank you for the explanation of what`s going on with you. You didn`t have to do it,but thank you all the same. When I found out about the last LB album,I did go back to the day I bought The Source mag with the news about ATCQ`s break-up on the front. I was a little upset about it then, and I was upset about the LB situation as well. I say that to say this: I know alot of the fans will say that the day the album releases, they will feel that is the day that the music died. I for one am not upset anymore, but inspired. You guys made feel-good music and of course you and Big Pooh will continue to do so,in your own arenas. I feel many will say that without groups like Tribe and Little Brother that good hip hop is few and far between, but good music is still out there. I am more inspired to make that good music because of groups like LB. Although it is sad that it has to end,I would like to thank the whole group for bringing that into my life and inspiring me to make the kind of music that I love and to not be afraid to be me,a man who is marreied with two kids and enjoys living life. no matter what endeavors you embark upon, you have a fan for life. Thank you.
